A running family joke is that I am half a nurse. I transferred out of nursing into an English program two years into a four year BScN degree.
I'm thinking of all the nursing students heading back to their schooling this fall. I normally admire nurses, but I am especially appreciative of their commitment now, during this global pandemic. I'm offering up this chapter as a thank you to nurses for their dedication to caring for patients and their families.
